 Judaism was a cruel, inhuman, business of controlling people. There was no Humanity to it. It was all rules and laws. Jesus challenge that at its core. Saying that God was humane, and that all aspects of society were to be equally humane. This was a total radical threat to the status quo. I had no idea.
