Joy versus pleasure

1.  Joy is always superior to pleasure in terms of how it feels, but it is profoundly easy to obscure that fact.
2. Joy is always available by transcending self and serving others.
3. Pleasure is available only when the environment permits it and even then.
4. Pleasure enjoy displace each other.

In Jesus's day for the people that he could help, pleasure was not an option. The choice was between misery, and joy, if only people could see the choice.
