Only when the life of another is worth one's own does one loved one's NEIGHBOR as oneself.

 And we have an entire culture devoted to teaching us that this is a lie, foolish, impractical, imprudent, self-defeating.

We have an entire culture and Christian religion devoted to saying that they love you, but you're a fool, gospel jesus. You're wrong. 

I can't do it. I'm constitutionally incapable of embracing the insanity of this culture. Thank god.

If you will not give your life for your neighbor, for a stranger, you are not only not following gospel jesus, but you are saying that gospel Jesus is wrong, a fool. That's okay. 

What isn't okay, is not facing that. That's deadly cowardice.
